Armenian Genocide Commemoration: The Stateless Diplomat

The Stateless Diplomat explores the life of Diana Apcar, an Armenian woman who helped build an international business across Southeast Asia. Faced with the horrors of the Armenian Genocide, Diana fought tirelessly to find sympathy and support for the victims of her ancestral home through books, letters, and her business connections. She later served as the first Armenian Consul to Japan during the short-lived Republic of Armenia.

Diana Apcar’s great-granddaughter, Mimi Malayan, uses her ancestor’s letters and archived documents to share Diana’s history and the journey of the Armenians. Join us for a film screening and discussion in remembrance of the Armenian Genocide.

n Armenian Trilogy

This documentary covers my life journey…taking me and my family to a place we had never been…Armenia.

The adventure defines faith and people's deep rooted desire to conquer dark passages. A story of hope for the continuance of life.

This movie is for your private screening. It’s 50 minutes long. It will eventually go public on Amazon Prime.

For this premiere, I am forgoing any revenue. I only ask that you donate whatever you can to St. Joseph Mercy Health or  Project Hope  to create some relief for our frontline responders during this ordeal.

God Bless you & keep you safe.
